This Saturday is so exciting for Akron's art community! Over 130 area artists have entered the AKRON ART PRIZE competition & we are hosting 30 of them. This would be a great time to check out our gallery & take the free trolley to the other stops on the Artwalk 5-10pm! Please register to vote @ www.downtownakron.com The winner YOU help choose, will win $5000 grand prize, & 5 runner ups get $1000.

April brings "Funk-tionality" to Red Light with Chip and Christine Lucas' exhibit, "funky, functional clay creations" in our Main Gallery. University of Akron Bachelor of Fine Arts candidate Rebecca Lamb, presents her senior show with playful and vivid photographs. Over a dozen Red Light resident artists will be available to talk to you about their work! Don't forget the free trolley service!

Hoping to see everyone out in numbers for the March Art Walk tonight from 5pm to 10pm. Come check out works from over a dozen artists including the latest works by Dana Depew. The opening for his new show "Captain & Chenille" coincides with the Art Walk. Vivid and unique art you won't want to miss!

Saturday February 4th is the Akron Art Walk from 5pm to 10pm...which means a lot of new things to see! Red Light Gallery will be featuring guest artist Marcie White, whose work combines drawing, painting, photography, and digital collage. The resident artists of Red Light will be there to show off new work...and we'll have some other surprises and activities! Free trolley to other art venues, too!

Even though there is no Akron Art walk for the month of January, we will be open to give you your art fix Saturday night (Jan 7th) from 5pm-8pm. Come see a wide variety of artwork, including drawings, paintings, photography, jewelry, knit goods, sculpture, and pottery from more than a dozen area artists.
